Largely, this will depend on what the student is hoping to achieve. I appreciate that, most often, a student's aim is to achieve a certain grade in an exam. Hi I'm Elise! A second year environmental science student at Lancaster University. I think students find the casual conversational learning to be a breath of fresh air. Many feel cramped and uncomfortable in a classroom so being able to just discuss things freely with no fear of judgement is a huge help. In my experience students always undersell themselves, so I make a point out of showing them how much they already know, which helps them feel more confident from the offset

I am a patient and approachable tutor with experience teaching children and adults, both online and in person, up to and including A level. I enjoy helping students work through challenging topics and grow in confidence.
