I am a friendly and approachable musician, songwriter and singer. I have been involved in music for many years in solo, group and large ensemble capacties. Among many music courses I have attended, my training includes a Diploma in Popular Music Performance at the highly commended Tech Music School in London, and a Fist Class Honours degree in Music Technology with Popular Music Performance.
I have been fully CRB checked to work with children.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching since 2001, initially primary and secondary aged students. This was performance based tutoring at weekend classes including some one to one sessions. I have done this in both Norfolk and London. I have also taught many one to one singing lessons with all ages between 6 and 65. I have since taught classes at college and degree level in various aspects of music, including performance music business history and theory.

Tutoring Approach:
I like to tailor my tutoring to each individual student's needs rather than using set lesson plans. My teaching style is based around enjoying the learning experience and building confidence. I like to engage with my students to the extent where the learning is a bi-product of the session without it feeling like hard work. of 8, where I first studied Piano with Joyce Powell and the very talented Rowena Oakey, and 's Newport. I am also a skilled marching band percussionist,
having played all the instruments in this family.

From Head Chorister at St. John's Church, Maindee, and Bandmaster of the Borough of Newport Pipes & Drums, I conducted the Massed Male Choirs at the National Eisteddfod in Newport in 1987 at the age of only 21.

I am a former trombonist of the Band of the 3 BattalionRoyal Regiment of Wales, and former conductor of other male choirs including Newport (Gwent) and Snowdown (Kent).

I also studied singing at many RSCM courses. I have performed in a variety of venues including Bath Abbey, the Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Cathedral, Cardiff Castle, Dover Castle, Plymouth Hoe, the NEC and Wembley.

I really enjoy performing, conducting and teaching - all three skills I use to the pupil's advantage.

In 2001, I formed what is now the very successful Wessex Male Choir, whom have since won many competitions on the International stage, and which is still growing in size (now 60 choristers strong!), musical ability and popularity. See our website

Experienced Session Musician, with 11 years live and studio experience. 8 years tutoring experience. Two co-written South African chart singles, 8 studio albums ( session and co-writing ), three international releases. One South African National tour.

Teaching Experience:
Having started my own music college in South Africa 6 years ago and tutoring students on a one to one basis for the last year in London. My experience as a tutor is vast, not only do I have teaching/tutoring experience but also years of live session work in studio and on stage with various bands. I'm a 26 years old Hungarian saxophone player recently moved to London, and looking forward to teach music.

After successfully completing my bachelor in Jazz Saxophone at the Conservatoire of Trento (Italy), I moved to Milan where I have balanced studies and work for almost 2 years. Although I specialise in saxophone and jazz, I am able to teach the recorder, flute, and (classical) music theory.

I started learning music with the Kodaly method at the age of 5 and have been studying, playing and teaching music ever since. As a freelance and private saxophone and flute teacher, I always try to apply that same method when teaching my students.

Ciao! I'm Esmond. I'm a writer, composer, director and artist, and prizewinning History finalist at the University of Oxford, with experience of a broad range of learning environments and teaching styles, and substantial industry experience in music and the creative arts. Deeply passionate about my subjects, I'm dedicated to each of my students and enthusiastic about sharing the joy of learning with them. I tutor History, Music, History of Art and Latin to A-Level, IB and equivalent, and English, Design and Technology (Graphic Design route) and Maths to GCSE/IGCSE. I also provide mentoring, including guidance on personal statements, submitted work, admissions tests and interviews, for students applying to study History and related subjects at both Oxbridge and other universities. Currently a final-year historian at the University of Oxford, I hold both academic and music scholarships. We aren't just about scales, theory and solitary practice (although we do encourage all of those things) We're about the magic that happens when musicians meet.

Everything we do is done from our bar/music venue. We also stream all of our classes so that people all over the world can still take part.

Personal Description:
Hi, I'm Charlie. I'm a 25 year old Musician and Graduate from the Academy Of Contemporary Music in Guildford.

I specialise in guitar, production and guidance through GCSE and A level work. I have been playing guitar since Junior school, whilst also singing and developing into a songwriter. I have vast experiences of being graded on my performances, my songwriting and production work.

Teaching Experience:
I spent my work experience in my secondary school as a teachers assistant, supporting in year 7-10 music lessons (aged 11-16). Throughout this I helped out with organising lesson plans, whilst also advising and guiding students during their work periods.

Alongside this, I also have experience running workshops with younger primary school students (6-8 years old) these were more lighthearted, friendly introductions into music as a subject.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each individual. I start by getting to know where you're at, what you'd like to achieve, and how you learn best. Whether you're aiming to master Grade 5 theory, improve your GCSE or A-Level coursework, develop your guitar playing, or dive into music production with Ableton or Logic Pro, I'll help break things down into manageable steps that suit your pace and style. The goal is to build confidence, keep things engaging, and make sure you're always moving forward toward your musical goals.
