English is my passion - I love everything about the language and love to share my passion with my students. I am a proactive, dedicated teacher hailing from Montpellier, southern France, with a passion for teaching. Based in the UK, I have worked across 3 continents in a variety of education institutions and universities in the last few years, and have always enjoyed making a difference in the learning experience of my students and tutees.

I completed a PhD in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2018, and became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE). I am involved in scholarship and have a huge academic interest in American and comparative literature. My research portfolio contains a dozen publications in peer-reviewed outlets, including Academia Letters, The European Journal of American Culture and The Literary Encyclopedia, and a research monograph about two writers from the Beat generation - Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg - published by Peter Lang in May 2022, which has been nominated this year for a BSA Book Award. These materials, which include videoclips, podcasts, literary texts, translations, news articles, practice sheets or former exam papers, can also be edited or designed from scratch (such as homework or exercise sheets for example), in order to concentrate on a specific point, embed newly-won knowledge.

I am an outgoing, patient, and hard-working girl with short hair. I have finished both of my master's degrees at the University of Warwick within the field of Engineering and started to work on my Ph.D. degree from the Nov of 2020 for Autonomous Vehicle also at the University of Warwick.

Outside of my academic work, I have pursued many extracurricular undertakings throughout my life. During my undergraduate study, I served as the University of Liverpool Flash Mob Society President and led huge street performance activities which were broadcast by CCTV13 and several other television channels. Tutoring Approach:
I draw material from a range of sources including news articles, podcasts, short videos etc for discussion. I create vocabulary exercises for the topic material to allow the student to prepare for the discussion of the topic so that the new language is used actively and immediately.

I usually keep the lessons as focussed on speaking/listening as possible, with reading and writing usually given as homework.

The lessons are, however, tailored to suit the individual needs of the student.

I am a well travelled 50 year old who spent most of his teaching career teaching in Asia, I am TEFL qualified and experienced in teaching at Elementary level and adult Business skills level. I have written a travel book and am currently writing children's books along with a Motorcycle racing biography . I am free during the day and some evenings. I work from home and home can be our quiet little place in the hills in the nature which I love. I have 4 children and am very patient with them as they are my main students. I am very happy in my work, kind and willing to help and answer any questions.

In large classes I make use of working through art dance and drama giving the children opportunities to express themselves in their own personal way, when tutoring 1-2-1 I like to use flash cards with words, pictures and a white board and also make use of every child's ability to express themselves with their own words and pictures.

Bonjour ! I am French native speaker fully qualified to teach French in secondary school. I have a wide range of experience in teaching from nursery to secondary settings, as I have also a master in education in France to teach primary and nursery children.

Five years ago, I decided to move to Scotland where I started as a nursery practitioner in Edinburgh: my enjoyment of teaching my native language encouraged me to get the full qualification to be able to improve my teaching practice and to teach French at different level and range of students.

I love travelling with my lovely dog Alba , as I recently cycled with her from France to Crete !

I am currently studying Medicine at university. Before then I undertook a gap year, where I spent the time tutoring students. I have managed to tutor students who were failing in their prelims, helping them to achieving an A in their final exam. I have also worked with students with Dyslexia. I enjoy teaching and helping other people with subjects that I myself really enjoyed doing. I primarily tutor English and entrance into medical school. I am friendly, patience and professional.
