I have been the Head of Accounting since 2006, at a large Catholic Sixth Form College in Hulme, Manchester. I am 46 years old, living in Didsbury, South Manchester. I worked as an accountant for 14 years, before making the decision to train as a secondary teacher (Business Education).

I have been teaching for 23 years - 20 years in secondary education and for the past 5 years I have been a College lecturer, teaching Accounting subjects from school to Degree level.

I have a very student centred approach to tutoring. It's important that I find out what the student needs help with and I tailor my lessons to suit... that's what teaching is all about. I like an informal environment, but will always be 100% prepared for the lessons.
