I have been tutoring since 2010 and worked as a tutor in schools and for local education authorities. I offer tuition in Maths, Physics and English(ESL) up to and including A-Level. After graduating in Physics from Imperial College i worked as a theatrical actor before obtaining a Masters in Applied Theatre: Drama in the Community and Drama Education. Additionally I have facilitated drama workshops both in England and abroad going as far afield as India. I have a friendly and relaxed approach and try to give my students the confidence to think and tackle their task by themselves. When needed I try to explain the concepts behind the subject that they are looking at. With syllabus based work I give students as much opportunity to practice exam papers to get as familiar with them as possible.

I am an experienced and well qualified teacher with an enthusiasm for my subject and a real concern for those who struggle with maths. I have helped many get over their fear of maths as well as helping able students to gain Oxbridge places. I have retired to this area where I enjoy living near the sea, and walking. The FameLab competition gave me a chance to inform large groups of people about my chosen scientific topic. I gave multiple talks within my school and also at the University of Hull in the Allam medical building.
During my education, I would often find myself clarifying points to my fellow students which they didn't grasp first time.
During my time working on NCS, a large part of my role was to get participants of all different backgrounds and interests involved and this is something which is heavily applicable to tutoring.
