I hold a Physics Degree from Oxford University and am now a commercial airline pilot. I have extensive experience tutoring over the past fifteen years and also spent three years teaching future airline pilots for their ground school exams.

I tutor Maths (including Further Maths) and Physics at A-Level and below. I feel that Maths and Science should be fun and enjoyable to learn - and feel that if they are taught in the right way this can be easy to achieve.

I started tutoring when I left Oxford University and have a very successful record with my past students. My last student enjoyed her GCSE tutoring so much that she went on to choose both maths and physics at A-level.

I also spent three years teaching young adults to prepare them for the examinations required for Airline pilots. My subjects were Meteorology and General Navigation - science and maths based subjects.

Whilst at University I completed a "teaching physics in schools" module and spent time as a science teaching assistant in a local Oxfordshire school.

I am 35 years old and I have most recently completed the LPC at the University of Law. I have already completed a GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) at the same university. I also have an undergraduate 2.1 with Honors degree in French and Italian at The University of Manchester. I have always kept up my interest in maths by studying with the Open University and I particularly enjoy finding ways to use games and puzzles to create interest and understanding. I worked in business computing and always enjoyed the training side of the job. I am a student studying Biomedical Science in the University of Sunderland with an integrated placement at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. I have been taught online as well as helped students online with interview preparation. I found it incredibly fulfilling and much easier than travelling around to places, which can be difficult with those with big workloads or don't have much time during their day. I have taught online during the weekends, as it is much easier to fill up time and space, and think it is the best case scenario for everyone. However, I do understand that doing tutoring online might seem like a waste of time, but I feel as though online tutoring can help students concentrate for longer as they have the ability to do it in their own home.
