Engineering is one of the hardest subjects you can study, and it doesn't help when module content is disorganised, learning materials are messy and hard to follow, and when lecturers are too busy to respond to your questions. Hi, I am a 2nd year medical student at the University of Manchester. I have a range of interests, of course including sciences and medicine, but also in music and history. I have extensive experience leading groups of a range of ages in a school environment as well as working with individuals to help them achieve their goals and further their skills in their area of interest. I have been tutoring for two years now, having started in my gap year, and I have thoroughly enjoyed helping pupils significantly increase their grades. My most recent GCSE students increased their science grades from 4s to 8s in around a year of tutoring. Maths: Our maths tuition uses the Maths - No Problem! mastery approach, inspired by Singapore's world-leading teaching methods and adapted to the UK curriculum. Children work independently with carefully designed materials, while I step in with guidance and teaching support whenever they need it. Lessons are 1 hour long, with regular feedback for parents and educational rewards to keep motivation high. Every session is designed to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and develop a deep, lasting understanding of maths.

English: Our English programme aims to spark a lifelong love of reading and writing. It incorporates spelling, punctuation, grammar, reading, and writing, with plenty of work on inference skills and opportunities to enjoy classic fables, sayings, proverbs, and poetry. Lessons are 1 hour long, with regular feedback for parents and educational rewards to keep motivation high. Every session is designed to be engaging, enjoyable, and confidence-building.

Each child follows their own bespoke learning plan as part of a small group and works at a level and pace that is appropriate for them. The student to tutor ratio is a maximum of 5:1.
