As a 63 year old with 17 years teaching, I have a lifetime of real experiences outside teaching. This includes 20 years as an RAF technician using maths and physics and 10 years in the business and computing world. Consequently I can deliver teaching to students that is real and meaningful. Domestically I have four children (three have left home), a cat called Abby and Freddie the gold fish.

I am very good at my job as a full time maths teacher and I teach/tutor students with a range of abilities and learning difficulties. Over the years I have tutored many students in their homes and they have gone on to achieve excellent grades. Parents are often sceptical at first, but after a short demonstration, most of my potential students and parents take the online option. Delivered directly into your home via live Internet, the benefits of online learning are massive: all sessions are recorded, students have access to hundreds of PowerPoint, accurate assessment, and students make rapid progress. After the first couple of sessions parents begin to understand why traditional tutoring methods are very poor and often produce limited results. I have a long experience of teaching mathematics on various levels from GCSE mathematics up to university level. I am currently the Mathemtics Subject Leader on the Warwick University Higher Education Foundation Programme at Stratford upon Avon College. I teach mathematics on this programme. I also teach A level mathematics and A level Further Mathematics. I run a workshop preparing students to sit for AEA mathematics and STEP papers.
