I am really passionate about science and teaching: during my academic career, I have been fortunate enough to have plenty of opportunities to combine the two at a variety of levels. Hello my name is Anne-Marie, I am from Ireland but have been living in the UK since 2004. This is now a place I call home. I realised I had a flare for imparting knowledge when I became a basketball trainer at 15, working with Primary and Secondary pupils. I have been tutoring for five years now. I started when I was 16, volunteering for my Duke Of Edinburgh Award at an after-school tutoring centre. Then I went on to having private students of my own at both A level and GCSE level in person and online. I come from a family that is passionate about sport and I have also served as Trustee of a well-known children's charity.
