I am really passionate about science and teaching: during my academic career, I have been fortunate enough to have plenty of opportunities to combine the two at a variety of levels. I come from a very large family and have been involved in work with children from a young age - from riding instructor to homework 'buddy' and in the last 10 years tutoring and teaching. Tutoring Approach:
The foundation of my approach is to building confidence and enthusiasm in my pupils. I use a combination of exam questions and structured sessions. Hello, my name is Robert. Learning and teaching in some form has always been part of my life; my personal motto is "Never stop asking questions....". For me, languages are a vital component of a rounded education. I have always loved to travel and being able to communicate with people in different countries in their own language has always thrilled me. Teaching languages allows me to help others to enjoy their language learning, too.

I am a mum of 2 primary-aged children. We love visiting parks, going for a walk, swimming, scooting and playing. We also love making things, painting, and they love to help me with my little craft projects.

I provide a Traded Service to support schools in Wirral to meet the needs of pupils with English as an additional language (EAL) and ethnic minority pupils. I support pupils' settling into school and development of English sometimes via translations of instructions and curriculum language. I also provide support for families prior to and during admission of children with EAL to school/setting.
