In 2014 I opened a language school where taught Mandarin on Saturdays but closed in 2019 due to pandemic. Now I am focus only on face-to-face teaching individually.

Tutoring Approach:
For casual learners, I tend to start from showing root meanings combine to form new compound words, teaching high-frequency patterns that cover most daily conversations, and explaining the underlying logic of Chinese characters and grammar rather than relying strictly on rote memorization helps students progress faster.

For academic purposes students such as GCSE and ALevel students, I will strictly using frameworks following national curriculum to help structure lessons effectively.
