I am a teacher of French, Italian and Spanish in St Ninian's High School, within East Renfrewshire. I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a joint Honours degree in French and Italian (language and studies). I also have a Masters in Marketing which I also obtained from the University of Strathclyde. I spent a year abroad in Lyon, France, during my fourth year of university, where I worked as an English Language Assistant in two high schools. I am passionate about teaching languages, mostly orientals, and also coaching martial arts and self defence. I coach the IWTA-EWTO-WingTsun 梁挺詠春拳.

In the first 12 weeks of the beginners program you'll learn the basics for a proactive and "pre-emptive" self defence and to deal with the most "common" types of attacks. This is the Blitz-Defence program.

Afterward you start a more sophisticated training program where you learn to deal with an aggressor in a less violent way by using our unique tactile skills training method.

I am an Italian national who has been living in Bristol since September 2012 and having had a long time experience as an Italian teacher for students who have participated in the AFS Intercultural Program, it has not been difficult to insert myself here as a private Italian teacher.

I am a professional singer, a music and singing teacher. I have conducted masterclasses and I won several singing competitions in Italy.
I have phoniatric experience which enables me to recognise voice issues and to keep my voice and my students' voices healthy. This phoniatric experience enabled me to gain a deep knowledge of voice anatomy and physiology, to ensure a healthy voice emission and to work on voice education.

Teaching Experience:
I worked as a music and singing teacher for several music academies, middle schools and high schools to A level exam syllabus. The main subjects I held: general music, modern and opera singing, Body awareness, history of music, chamber music, solfeggio and rhythm.
I am now working as a musical director for a theatre company.
I am now also holding on line vocal coaching lessons.

I have experience teaching a drop-in Italian Language course for beginner adults and conversational Italian for adults at a Community Centre in Brighton, East Sussex, UK.

I have maintained the drop-in format by effectively managing students of various proficiency levels, providing a good balance of flexibility and freedom for students to join at any time according to their availability.
