I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I chose my own programme of study which consisted of French,English Language Studies with GCSE/Standard grade Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. My approach is flexible and responsive: rather than presenting rules in a rigid, top-down way, I guide students to discover patterns and structures through dialogue, practice, and reflection. I encourage collaboration, whenever possible, and active participation, as I believe that learning is most effective when it is social, dynamic, and connected to real-life contexts.

Moreover, I design thematic lessons, such as art and cinema, to make learning Italian more engaging for students with a genuine interest in these areas.
