I have a deep understanding of the GCSE program since I am tutoring three English secondary school students who are having difficulties with the Italian language. A few years ago I enrolled in a workshop offered at the university about the use and choice of scene Italian films for understand better the Italian style-life and that has been quite useful to my teaching of Italian culture.

I am a native German speaker and I am passionate about teaching and I love people. I have a PhD in protein chemistry.

Teaching Experience:
I am teaching since 2012 and I have taught 31 private students so far. I have taught 17 Science GCSE and A-level classes in schools and Colleges. I also have taught 23 German, French and Italian evening classes.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is student and needs centred.
My language lessons can focus on speaking and listening, essential grammar and writing sentences and essays.
In science lessons all weaknesses can be discussed, school homework and exam paper questions.
A typical lesson with me is one hour per week with one additional hour of homework for the following lesson, however this is entirely up to the student.

I have been living in London since 2010 where I achieved a Post-Grad diploma in HR at Westminster University in 2016.
I have been teaching Italian language since 2018. During the pandemic I decided to turn my passion about teaching into a full time job.
In 2022 I attended a CLTA certified course at International House on teaching Italian as a second language to adults.

I work on a free-lance basis for two language schools in London and I devote the rest of my working schedule to private students. I also do small groups.

I am qualified and experienced in preparing students for GCSE and CILS certificates.
