I am an Open University graduate having completed an BA(Hons) degree. I chose my own programme of study which consisted of French,English Language Studies with GCSE/Standard grade Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. I hold an MA in History of Art from the University of Siena and a PhD in Italian Studies from the University of Birmingham. I developed strong expertise in modern and contemporary Italian culture, along with highly transferable analytical, organisational, and communication skills that I apply directly in my teaching and private tutoring.

I have nine years of teaching experience in Italian language and culture at the University of Birmingham, within the Department of Modern Languages. Alongside this, I now offer private tuition tailored to individual learners.
