- In spring 2019 I attended a 3 month international advanced training course on the Lecoq pedagogy of movement theatre led by master Giovanni Fusetti in Padua, Italy, which incredibly deepened and refined my understanding of the student/teacher relation and enormously widened the ways I can adapt and carry out a class according to the personality and the needs/goals of the students. 430h of training.

- Since I moved to London I have taught Italian to many people, students, casual learners, people seeking accents reductions....from an English couple who have travelled to Italy many times, are really fond of the culture but have never got down to learning the language, to a Japanese woman who lives in the City and has working relationships with Italy. - In 2008 I worked as a teaching assistant in a kindergarten in Reykjavk for 8 months. This kindergarten had a special program of integration between kids with special needs (especially hearing impaired ones) and kids with no special requirements, which showed to be very successful. My name is Stefano, I have been a lecturer in Italian at the University of Reading since 2014. I currently teach Italian Language for Management and Business, Italian Language for students at an advanced level, and I am the module convenor of a literature module covering a period from Middle Ages to Renaissance.

I am the founder of a company, which provides language tutoring (individual and groups, private and companies, online and face-to-face). My students call me "Il Maestro": I am sure they don't mean that! :D

Hi, I'm graduated in Poland with a multiyear experience of abroad studies (in Italy). Actually, I live not far from Glasgow, and I'm willing to teach in this area. My everyday life is quite busy and focuses on my 6-year-old daughter matters. I'm married to Italian men (native Italian speaker, but fluent also in Polish and in English as well), so my contact with Italian, Polish and English language is continuously maintained.

Teaching Experience:
I've started to teach for good in 2008 in Warsaw, where I've worked for many years as an Italian language teacher for several schools of foreign languages in Warsaw. Seeking for the better understanding of my students' learning problems I decided to study Pedagogy for Teachers. In 2009 I completed three-term post-graduated studies (including 155 h of teaching internship). Until 2016 I've continued my work as a teacher and translator in Poland for the companies with Italian personnel, after that, I've moved to Scotland. In 2017 I've applied for Polish School in Glasgow offering a place as a Teaching assistant in the preparatory class for 5-years old children. Currently I'm a Primary Teacher leading the P2 class at Polish School in Glasgow.
My latest linguistic project is the Italian language for travellers (The Hitchhiker's Guide to Italy) - A1 adult class, based on Arrivederci 1 handbook and by me written - Course story 'Andy di Glasgow in Italy' (series of conversations) and Recipes - based in Glasgow.

Teaching is my passion. In my work I'm focused on supporting learners, in individual and group courses as well, assigning various tasks (often practical) and appraising the effects of students' work. Before being a teacher I was a student myself and I understand how difficult can be to learn a foreign language. Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher specialised in Modern Languages (PGCE with QTS). I have been teaching and tutoring for several years. I had the opportunity to teach in different contexts, cultures and to different ages and levels. I have taught Italian to individual students and corporate clients with different language requirements and purposes. I have also conducted a preparation course for Italian GCSE and A level exams in schools across London. Previously, I taught English (EFL) to high school students and to primary school teachers in Italy. Courses included preparation for Cambridge English language examinations.

Tutoring Approach:
Some students come to me feeling unconfident and generally struggle to remember grammar rules or vocabulary, some others may not feel confident to express themselves. This is why I ensure my lessons are always motivating and fun!
I use a communicative approach where my students take active part in the lesson through understanding, thinking, eliciting and producing. My role as a teacher is to guide them through their learning process, considering their learning styles and personalities and making sure they always feel comfortable and engaged. Some activities I use include role plays, games and situational activities. Finally, one of my main goals as a teacher is to enable my students to enjoy the

Hi, I'm Maddalena, I am Italian and I have moved to London from the Italian Alps. I have been travelling and l living in different countries since I was 18. I love staying outdoors, hiking ans skiing. I like nature and its slow pace. I practice yoga and meditation and when I am not teaching I am a body therapist. I love connecting with people and I am a very good listener and observer.

I have been teaching for the last 16 years, since I graduated from college. I studied Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and Spanish) and I have a post-graduate Master in Teaching of Italian as a Foreign Language.
I have experience with students of all ages, from primary school to adults, and also with dyslexia. I have been teaching one-to -one and group classes, both as self employed and public schools' teacher.

I like to get to know my students and discover their interests in order to tailor the lesson around those, because I think that motivation and curiosity for the subject are essential for an easy and succesful learning.
I try to create a relaxed and informal environment when I teach so that my students feel at ease and overcoming some blocks ( "I don't like this subject!"; " I hate my teacher!"; " I have taken so many courses and I still am not able to talk") becomes easier.
I combine speaking with grammar with listening to songs and audios, watching videos and movies; and whenever it's possible I include games in my lessons.
