My approach is firstly to assess closely where the gaps in my pupil's knowledge are and then build on closing them through grammar and vocabulary. I therefore give my students the building blocks to construct their own sentences in writing and speech.

I will work with them sometimes using their own text books but also I provide my own material to make the lessons more interesting. I will use games/quizzes as well as focussing on past papers and oral exams to help them gain confidence in the language.

Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. I'm an experienced Russian and German Languages teacher.I graduated the University of Sheffield with a First Class Master degree in Modern Languages, specifically Russian and German. I have years of teaching experience. I worked as Russian and German Teacher in the schools in England including one of the most prestigious boarding schools in England. Russian is my native Language that I teach to all levels of students. I speak fluent German that I teach up to A-Level.

Art is my calling and my biggest passion. I paint artworks in Art Deco style using oils and acrylics. I'm proficient in many Fine-Art techniques and have deep knowledge of art history.I have experience teaching Fine-Art in the schools where I have worked primarily with GCSE and A-Level students.

Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my Russian and German lessons to the student's learning goals, academic needs, required vocabulary and situations the language will be used at. My lessons are interactive and fun. I focus on vocabulary, grammar learning, speaking and understanding and cover the most interesting topics of the culture, literature, art and traditions of Russia and Germany. For the younger age ( and not only) I offer fun educational games. My ambition is to help students to improve their foreign language proficiency and to achieve their life goals.
I also offer professional Fine-Art lessons for all levels of students which are knowledgable, interactive and creative.

Personal Description:
I am a highly-experienced French and German teacher with over 15 years in the classroom, teaching both languages to Oxbridge entry level.

I believe in giving pupils the tools to manipulate language for themselves and to feel confident when communicating orally or in writing. My lessons are tailored to the individual and for those taking GCSE or A Level examinations, there is a clear focus on improving exam technique and working on individual skills and exam papers.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught at a wide range of schools, from comprehensive to grammar schools and from this, I have gained a wide level of experience of supporting pupils with different needs. My pupils and those I have tutored have consistently achieved very good outcomes in public examinations.

Tutoring Approach:
I tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual pupil and in our initial meeting, I will establish the areas where we want to work on together.

My lessons are interactive and I make use of authentic materials and assessment materials to practise the different language skill areas.
