Teaching Experience:
I have been a teacher for over 18 years now and have a very diverse experience as I have been working in an Alliance française in Mexico, a language centre, two adult education centres and a few tutoring agencies.
My first teaching experience was as a language assistant in Preston, Lancashire. I have had students ranging from 7 years old to 70+, from absolute beginners to advanced levels. I`ve given private and group classes and intensive courses (up to 7h a day).

I have now been in London for 12 years. At the moment, I give French private tuition for the preparation of GCSE and IGCSE, AS-A Level (Edexcel, AQA), DELF B1, and copy editing/proofreading for university essay writing. I also tutor other students looking to learn or improve their French communication skills for personal reasons.

I teach French and can also help with methodology (including essay writing) and primary school subjects to students following the French curriculum (such as CNED - distance learning) as well as DELF A1-B2 and DALF C1 (I got an accreditation to administer these French proficiency tests in 2009 and was an examiner for the November 2009 and June 2010 sessions in Mexico).

I am available 7 days a week, at whatever time is convenient for the students.

I lived and worked in France from 1982 to 1985. I have always spent the summer holidays from the age of 12 living with a French family and feel equally at home in France or England. From school age I knew I wanted to travel and find new places learning the language as I went. My name is Haidee, I'm a 19 year old from Liverpool studying French at The University of Liverpool. (I often go to Kirkby and Fazackerly to work and see family so would often be available to tutor in that area too). I have thoroughly enjoyed learning French for 8 years and would love to pass on my knowledge so that you can enjoy learning French too! In school I sat my GCSE early at the age of 14 (year 9), passing with a B. I then continued to study French for the final two years of school and passed again with an A*. I also started studying Spanish in the last two years and passed with an A. During college I studied French to A2 level, passing with a B. In my time in college I spent a week each year in Montpellier living with a French family and attending a French language school, which I really enjoyed and feel helped me with my learning.

This is my first time trying tutoring, but I often helped my sister with her French to GCSE level. I have 2 years experience as a part-time BA TEFL teacher, from April 2020 until 5th February 2022 when my contract came to an end, as an online teacher with Education First,, teaching English to Chinese children (5 to 14 yrs. old).

I have 2 years experience as a part-time BA TEFL online English teacher from April 2020 until 5th February 2022 when my contract with Education First came to an end. I was teaching English online to Chinese children aged from 5 to 14 years. This experience was very enjoyable so I am now seeking a similar work experience with UK tutors.

In addition, from 2010 to 2020, I was self-employed and I was tutoriing private pupils in person from my home or theirs. The subjects I taught were English French and music.
