Tutoring Approach:
I believe one to one private tuition requires a tutor who can adapt to the needs of the pupil. Ideally (although not crucially-entirely online is also possible) I would wish to meet the pupil initially to establish how they may best be assisted and what the pupil's key areas of concern are. Each mind, young or old, needs different approaches and I believe my strongest ability is an adaptability to meet the varying needs and requirements of every student.

My approach, in most cases would be to follow a curriculum, finding out where their difficulties lie within this curriculum and how it would be best to resolve them.

I tend to use past papers when it comes to exam based tuition as this is ultimately what they will be faced with come exam time! However, when I have a pupil for longer there is more scope for more imaginative teaching or simply assistance with difficult homework.

With each of my previous pupils I have needed and been able to assist them in a way that is individually appealing to them and I have never had a pupil who has not achieved their desired results.

Confidence is often the stumbling block for learners, and I always encourage all of my students to feel an early sense of achievement. Enabling students to see real progress quickly is essential to the building of self-esteem. I am very approachable and my style of teaching is relaxed and friendly. Students can learn by either visiting my home or at a distance using Skype. Every student is assessed as an individual and the content of their course tailored to their needs. I test my students periodically to ensure progress is going smoothly; also testing is a good way for students to observe their own progress. We use a variety of materials: books for writing and reading in English, and for revision in Maths; the computer for visual skills and games, listening and speaking is a major part of the programme for EFL students. Children learn in different ways, and I like to offer my students visual, auditory and kinetic tools, we can see which is most comfortable for the individual. I am 35 years old and I have most recently completed the LPC at the University of Law. I have already completed a GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) at the same university. I also have an undergraduate 2.1 with Honors degree in French and Italian at The University of Manchester. Hello, my name is Robert. Learning and teaching in some form has always been part of my life; my personal motto is "Never stop asking questions....". I believe the greatest benefit of 1:1 tutoring (or tutoring small groups), is that it is so much easier to tailor the learning to the student's needs, aiding understanding and building on that towards mastery of a subject. Progress is often swift because as has been so often stated, 1:1 tuition for an hour is probably the equivalent of several days in the classroom! My initial approach is to assess the student's needs in the first couple of sessions, using the information gleaned to build a program of study that is particular to that student. I am a 26 year old living in Feltham, I work full time as a Disability Advisor and Autism Specialist Mentor supporting higher education students to access reasonable adjustments, provide pastoral support and advice. I also co-run workshops and events for the university I work for. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with my family, going to the gym, long walks and nature trails, swimming and arts and crafts. Personal Description:
Having gotten straight A stars at GCSE and A-levels I definitely know the best way to revise and study to achieve the best grades. I am a medical student in the UK and I currently am part of 3 tutoring companies which are all reputable companies which allow me to gain sufficient experience. I am a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable tutor to all my students and have been tutoring for the last couple of years, I feel teetering is a way for myself to connect with students at a level to help them reach their academic goals. I am a fun person and a self disciplined tutor that can also teach your child to fall in love with academics and push them to their limits in their academic work.

Teaching Experience:
I have ample amounts of teaching experience starting from teaching at my local tuition centre when I was in year 12, I then decided in university to start teaching online and have been teaching for about almost a year at a number of different tutoring agencies and teacher in companies I teach a load of different subjects from stem subjects such as Biology, chemistry, physics, English and maths. In these tutoring agencies I teach a range of kids from age 13 to 18 from academic subjects to entrance exam preparation for medical school in the entrance exams and the interviews.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teetering is a very a structured but relaxed way to ensure the child is comfortable enough with the teaching and a lesson. I first try to examine the student and get a sense of what their strengths and weaknesses are in a particular subject or ask them what they are struggling with in school. Then I tried to get as many resources and lessons to be able to teach them in a way and explain in a way that they can understand using diagrams pictures and any other resources. Finally I think this is the most crucial part of learning is practice questions whether it be the entrance exams or subjects I will give them past paper questions for them to work on.

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Krisztina and teaching is my life's passion! Growing up in a family of educators, teaching is definitely in my blood. There is something very special about being able to impact the life of a child, and to play a small role in moulding them into a person that can maybe one day make a difference in the world. Teaching is a fulfilling profession and for me, it provides inner happiness and a sense of achievement. I am proud to be a teacher!

I have 15 years of experience in teaching. For the first 10 years of my career, I taught in Special Education and gained a wealth of experience teaching many wonderful children with special educational needs, including Autism, Down's syndrome, ADHD, Asperger Syndrome and other learning and physical disabilities. In the last 5 years, my focus shifted to online tuition in English and Maths on the primary school level (from Reception to year 6). Due to my tuition, I have seen lots of amazing children not only improve their academic skills but their confidence too.

I am super friendly which helps to create a relaxed learning environment where it's okay to make mistakes. I am a patient and approachable tutor and always give my utmost to get the best out of the students. I think my success with students of all ages is due to me being able to put things into their language and to be patient whilst finding a method that works for them. A good sense of humour goes a long way too. Many parents have commented on my friendliness and clear explanations. I take great pride in being able to effectively communicate different concepts, then seeing students' comprehension grow alongside their enjoyment of the subject.

I have been tutoring online for 5 years now and have over 3000 hours of experience. My main areas are English and Maths on the primary school level (from Reception to year 6).

One of the beauties of online tuition that the student can be anywhere in the world. Being an online tutor has given me fantastic opportunities to help many children regardless where they live geographically. I have been tutoring children from my local area, from the broad neighbourhood, from other parts of the country and I also had the pleasure to tutor two children of a British family who live in Italy. They now attend the British School of Milan that is rated 'Excellent' by UK government inspectors.

For me, online tuition is incredibly rewarding. As a passionate teacher, there is no better feeling than to see my students develop their skills, increase their confidence and achieve the results they wanted. Tutoring Approach:
I believe that learning should be fun and not a burden! My main focus when teaching is to ensure the child is engaged, active and interested. I'm a hardworking, patient individual looking to improve the skills and confidence of my students by increasing their understanding rather than just telling them what is needed to complete their tasks.

I take a lot of time to plan individual lessons and strive to tailor each of them to the child's specific requirements. Every child is different so every lesson will be different. I initially like to talk to the children / parents and see where they think the weaknesses lie, also simple assessments such as past exam papers can highlight areas that need looking at. Maths and English can be challenging subjects for children, therefore I try to keep things simple and work step by step, to assist the student in understanding the concepts, also polishing the basics as we go along.

Over the years I have gained a diverse repertoire of skills to assist learning at all levels, along with a variety of tried and tested lessons to keep students engaged. I try to work in support of the pupil's school lessons, concentrating on challenging topics and areas where they lack confidence. I enjoy bringing a diverse range of materials and teaching methods to engage my students and help them to retain what they learn.
