My name is Kieran and I am an enthusiastic English student currently studying at Loughborough University. I have worked in the theatre for around eight years and am therefore incredibly confident and easily approachable. My approach to tutoring is tailored to the individual's needs; firstly finding ways of fully explaining a concept, then cementing them with useful and memorable material to build students' confidence. My main objective would be to aid the student in understanding not only the specifics of the work but also the broader aspects of it, which I believe provides a truer grounding in - and enjoyment of - a subject. By making the work useful and enjoyable, and by finding alternative and effective approaches to study, I hope that my tuition will shed new light on subjects for students.

My passion is building confidence and fostering resilient approaches to problem solving.

I have also lived in France for several years. I have taught French privately for over 20 years and many of my students achieve very high standards. I have found that in essay subjects it is helpful to break down each question that could come up in an exam into the assessment objectives required. My name is Dilafruz (Dilya) and I am originally from Tajikistan. My mother tongue is Persian Tajik and also, Russian.
Before I moved to London, I was learning English at university and graduated in Economics and Finance. My passion has always been to live in a city where I could practice and perfect my English.

8 years later, I have three young children (ages 2-7 years) and a baking business. I speak English fluently, have picked up Turkish through TV series and now learning Arabic online! I would like to share my passion for languages and Maths by teaching other children and assist them with their school work / studies.

In Tajikistan, I used to do babysitting part time which involved having study sessions with the kids after dinner. This involved tutoring and aiding them with their day-to-day homework in various subjects such as: Russian, Maths, History and Art.

I'm confident in taking lessons online as long as it's through video. My teaching approach is very interactive and only through facial expressions, can I truly see if my tutees are understanding the topics / subjects I'm covering.
My prior experience in babysitting and also having three children has taught me not only patience, but compassion and understanding. I have a BA in English Literature from Lancaster University and an MA in Gothic Literature from Manchester Metropolitan University. I am a MA Education Graduate (University of Derby) and I am applying for this position to help me support myself and to enable me to gain further experience and insight into the world of private tuition and to progress further professionally. I have completed a vast amount of work experience in the past and worked with a variety of different types of people and I feel that having had this exposure, I can relate well to people at all levels, and that I have good communication skills and a constructive approach to learning and improving my abilities.
