I am a graduate in Physics with Astrophysics, which was a four year degree, which included me living and learning in Italy. Just remember, being 'gifted' or not doesn't matter ! Studies all honestly revolve around your effort and originality to it ! If 'gifted' people can memorize/learn content easily on their second try, I'll just do it on my fifth try then.
