The need of the individual will be assessed in the first tutoring session. I tutor English to students helping them consolidating their knowledge on speaking, understanding, listening, reading and writing in English. I teach grammar, spelling, punctuation, paragraph writing and essay writing skills and assist students with understanding colloquialisms and conversational English. I believe in leading, motivating, supporting, challenging and developing students at all levels in order to achieve their success and providing constructive feedback. I feel like trying new techniques that could help students improve their skills and using modern and dynamic teaching methods to show students how to fluently communicate using the English language. Moreover, I love meeting new people and teaching in a relaxed conversational environment as well as I think that everyone learns in a different way.

I am a 45 year old successful tutor offering classes in Spanish language and culture, French and English as a foreign language (EFL). I hold full membership of the Chartered Institute of Linguists for both Spanish and French which is a mark of recognition for my advanced language skills and I also work in Secondary schools in South East Wales on a supply basis.
I have a first degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of the West of England Bristol and a CELTA TEFL certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language. As well as having a postgraduate degree in translation and interpreting from Alicante University, I have lived and worked in France for two years and Spain for twenty years, where had diverse roles both in business and in language schools. Teaching Experience:
I lived in Japan for nearly 10 years and taught English as a second language to adults and children. I've also taught in Indonesia. Colombia and Spain. I have some experience helping students studying for the Cambridge exams and English for specific purposes.

I am a former Head of Geography, now working as a part-time Teacher and Tutor. I work with only a few students, in order to devote my time to providing excellent lessons with plenty of feedback and follow-up.

I formerly taught English as a Foreign Language, and have a Diploma in this area of teaching (DELTA), so can offer EFL to adults or children. This includes English conversation, pronunciation and help with proof-reading.
