I am a 45 year old lady residing in Ashford, Kent. I originally come from Africa and have been in England for 10 years now. I trained as a primary school teacher but resigned after 16 years mainly because I wanted to travel and broaden my experiences. When I meet a student for the first time I always believe in taking time to know them. By this I mean their well being and /or state of mind. I embarked on two Postgraduate Diplomas at Aleppo University one in Linguistics (2002); the other in Education and Qualification in 2003. In both of these Diplomas I was awarded a Distinction. In 2002, I was fortunate in gaining a scholarship to study in the UK and was nominated to study in the department of Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex. Hello! I am a native Russian speaker from Kaliningrad, who came to the UK in 1996. I have lived in Yorkshire longer than in Russia. My life is truly split between the two countries and I love and teach all things Russian and English! I am a qualified teacher in both RF and UK. I hold a BA in Philology with a major in English Studies, specialising in teaching English as a foreign language, an MA in International Studies with a major in Cultural Studies, a C2 Proficiency Certificate, an MLF Teacher Subject Specialisation Training Certificate from the University of Portsmouth and a Qualified Teacher Status.

I have over a decade of experience working with diverse learners of various ages in language and mainstream schools in Poland and England.

As a bilingual individual with a decade of experience living in the United Kingdom, I possess a deep understanding of both the Polish and English language, literature, and culture.
