Let me briefly describe you my past experience. I was born in Saint-Petersburg and graduated from Russain State University of Foreign Languages, I have a master's degree in teaching of modern languages. I have been working first at school, then privately for more than 15 years.

I started teaching Russian at Trent College in Derbyshire as an extra-curricular activity for a group of students in year 7-8 and 9, providing all the teaching materials and authentic programme. I covered all the main parts in terms of philology and diverse the lessons with curious facts about the country, traditions and customs. At the end of one term course, students had basic skills in reading and writing, they were able to introduce themselves and speak on common themes (hobbies, cuisine, travelling etc). I have taught English as a foreign language for over 20 years- in language schools, abroad and on-line. I have worked with professionals who want to develop their career, refugees and asylum seekers who are settling in the UK and anyone who is keen to improve their English.

I used to be a physiotherapist in the NHS, so if you work in healthcare I can especially help with medical English.

Tutoring Approach:
We can do lessons on-line or in person if you live in the Reading area. Setting goals will help you get the most out of the lessons- you may want to pass an exam, apply for a job or improve your everyday language. We can have fun lessons to help you achieve these goals. I will set homework to help you learn inbetween lessons and achieve your goals more effectively. During lessons we can use videos, online articles, games and much more to keep the lesson interesting and fun.
