Although I learned all my foreign languages through a rigorous method very much based on writing and grammar, I am happy to adapt my method to my pupil's needs. Personally, I believe that conversation is the key to becoming fluent in a language, but at the same time I do not neglect the importance of writing and reading comprehension. Hi, I'm Emanuel. I'm originally from Romania and speak Romanian, Hungarian, and English. I've lived in several countries, including the UK, and I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I enjoy reading about psychology, self-improvement, and watching tennis.

Teaching Experience:
Since 2018, I've helped learners improve their English for work, travel, and everyday life. My lessons are practical and flexible, designed to meet your individual needs and goals. I focus on creating a supportive environment that builds your confidence and expands your vocabulary through meaningful conversation.

Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring approach centers on three key elements: Conversation - Confidence - Vocabulary.

I encourage students to speak for up to 80% of the class, ensuring they actively practice and build their conversation skills. To make our sessions super efficient and meaningful, I ask students to prepare vocabulary on topics that matter to them before class. This preparation boosts their confidence and helps them use relevant vocabulary naturally during our conversations.

This creates a positive cycle: the more they speak, the more confident they become, which motivates them to expand their vocabulary and engage in even more conversations.

Personal Description:
I have taught EFL in Japan and London; I'm into tennis and have an engineering degree, PGCE and TESOL My interests are piano, writing, travel and tennis; where I play competitively. I live in Newport Pagnell which is right next to Milton Keynes; so I am able to travel up to 10 miles in order to teach students.
I have completed a PGCE in secondary school science in London and did two placements to get practical experience. I also have qualifications in environmental science (post grad), acoustics and mechanical engineering.
Currently I'm working in the construction industry as an engineer doing mainly acoustic testing and consultancy; this involves driving extensively within the south east and beyond.
I'm looking to teach adult learners mainly at the weekends and evenings at around intermediate level; I'd prefer in person

Teaching Experience:
Thave taught EFL at intermediate level in London for a year in groups. I have also taught schools and engineers in Japan for three years including teaching presentation, TOEIC and TOEFL. I've a TESOL (TRINITY) qualification. The Elementary schools required some knowledge of Japanese language and culture as I was often taking the class for the whole lesson. The engineering teaching required travelling within the Tokyo area to teach professional engineers from some of the top universities in Japan.
I'm able to speak some Spanish

I'm patient and kind; I work as an engineer in construction. I free weekends only.
