My name is Rajindel. I am a fully qualified ESOL and RE secondary teacher. I have been in education for over 15 years. I have experience with different ages and my passion is teaching ESOL to any learner who requires help and support with the English language. I can teach IELTS English, ESOL courses to adults and children, Cambridge First Certificate, Functional Skills English, English at primary and secondary level which is KS1, 2 and 3 and I also teach general English to improve ones language.
My teaching method is initially teacher centred then predominantly student centred. Teaching methods can include paper based tasks, use of a tablet for English games, puzzles and listening tasks, question and answer tasks and having a natural conversation with the student is the best way to improve a students natural fluency.

I have got masses of experience. I have been teaching and giving private lessons in ESOL and EAL for over 15 years. I have taught a wide range of learners from young children to adults. I have taught students as young as 7 years up to students in their 50's.
I taught in Hungary in Eastern Europe for 2 and a half years, whilst there I taught a number of private students English. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching abroad as my skills were enhanced.

I am an extremely well qualified and experienced teacher of modern languages. I worked in many schools in the UK and for the most part as head of MFL. I also worked in China and Germany teaching English. Since retiring from full time teaching I have been teaching private lessons. I have extensive knowledge of the GCSE and A level courses and I have been very successful with my students. On average their grades have improved by at least two from their mock exams.

I started teaching after leaving university when I went to China and worked for a United Nations Development Project. I then worked for a private language school in Germany. Languages and psychology are my passions. I enjoy learning languages (as well as the languages listed below, I have started learning some Arabic, Norwegian, Japanese, Spanish and Italian) and this has enabled me to try many different methods of learning a foreign language, which I can pass on to students to see which works best for them. I have built up 7 years experience teaching from secondary school to University Level.

I work as an Associate Lecturer on the BA Painting Programme at Camberwell College of Arts (University of the Arts London), as a mentor on the Turps Painting Programme and was invited to be a Visiting Artist at Goldsmiths for 2023, and again for 2024. I am also a Dissertation Supervisor for Final Year students at Camberwell on their BA Programme. My specialism is Art History, however I have extensive knowledge of a wide variety of subjects and my tutees have all immensely improved their grades (often by multiple grade bands) and have been very happy with their results.

I also teach writing for a wide variety of audiences.
