Fortnightly sessions are possible where you do work in between for me to mark before the lesson.

When students have specialist teacher(s) at school, college or university the usual way of progressing is for them to work on one or substantial pieces of work. These might be a series of short-answer questions, data response, essays etc. This may be one given to them by their teacher(s) or I can supply assessment materials if needed.

They send me the work a day or to before the lesson so that I can mark it in advance for discussion. There is also often time to discuss one or two topics with which the student is having difficulty.

Students in education usually do one-hour sessions weekly or fortnightly but some students make more or less frequent arrangements.

Although this is the way that most students work, other approaches may be needed depending upon the student's course and requirements. I aim to be as flexible as is necessary to ensure a student's progress.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is very much based upon the needs of the individual. I identify the curriculum areas and exam technique that they wish to develop confidence in and work with tailored practice exercises that meet these goals. I help to deliver much improved exam and very often the confidence they need to approach external examinations with a positive mindset. As someone who has recently experienced what it is like doing the new style of GCSE`s and A-Levels, I understand and recognise what works best in order for students to excel beyond what they think might be their limits. Having achieved 9 A*`s at GCSE(6 "9`s" for GCSE and 3 "A*`s for IGCSE) and A*A*A*A at A-Level recently, I understand what approach works best in order for a student to excel and what the exam boards are looking for so that the pupil can achieve the best grades. I am able to teach a wide variety of exam boards.

My students feel that it is very easy to connect with how I teach and are not afraid to ask questions or approach my teaching in a fun and informal manner. I provide my students with resources that I myself used to achieve my grades, which allows them to truly know whether they have grasped a topic.

With over 3 years of extensive tutoring experience - having clocked in hundreds upon hundreds of hours - I have relished helping pupils sky-rocket their grades. Every single one of my students have achieved their desired grades that, in turn, have helped them get admission into their dream secondary school, dream sixth form, or dream university (with many students getting into Oxbridge and other Russell Group Universities).
