Although I am not a native French person I am a trainee French teacher and am a fluent speaker over the last 20 years, I understand that some people require a native speaker but not everyone can teach and I can prove my ability through my numerous high achievers and results. I am an excellent teacher and all my students grades get up to A* when they take my advise.

I am doing a PGCE in Teaching French in secondary schools and will complete in June 2020. As Senior Teacher/ Teacher in Charge, of a Medical Pupil Referral Unit I headed up a dedicated team of skilled teachers who worked with young people on a 1:1 and small group basis. I am a professionally trained actor. I have written for numerous publications, with stories and poems published regularly. I am confident with public speaking, since I have been performing in diverse venues for nearly 10 years. I have an MA in Acting and an MA in Theatre & Performance Studies. I hold a First Class Degree in English Literature and Drama from Manchester University.

I've been tutoring for nearly 15 years, working with students aged 6 years, up to 18, supporting them through KS1-4, GCSE and A'Level/IB curricula. I have also taught English as a foreign language. The content of my tutorials is entirely student- led; i.e I work towards the individual's goals and learning styles. James is a freelance theatre director who trained at RADA and the Kings Head Theatre in London.

I have directed several theatre productions at drama schools, fringe and off-west end theatres. As an Associate Director, I have worked in the West End on numerous productions including The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and the Olivier and Grammy-nominated Amelie The Musical. I have also worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company as an Assistant Director on their sell-out show A Christmas Carol starring Adrien Edmondson.

Teaching Experience:
In my early career I taught at Theatrix Performing Arts School and directed students through Trinity College London acting examinations as well as public performances. My students achieved a 100% pass rate with Merits or Distinctions in their performance examinations. My name is Gur, I'm a theatre and performance maker and a Hebrew tutor residing in London since July 2014.
I was born in Israel in 1986. I grew up in the outskirts of Tel- Aviv and lived in Tel-Aviv most of my adulthood. I attended the prestigious arts school Thelma Yellin followed by the Yoram Lowenstein acting Studio where I graduated in 2009. I completed a Master's degree in Performance at Goldsmiths University of London in 2016. Alongside tutoring I have been presenting my work in different venues around the UK, Royal Vauxhall Tavern Hall, Greenside at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Belgrade theatre in Coventry, and the Camden People's Theatre. Since 2015 I have been teaching Hebrew in London, there are great results and moreover Hebrew tutoring provides me with a connection to my roots. In my productions I put an emphasis on the actor or performer and I am experienced in achieving a result that will satisfy me and my actor.
I am hard working and I believe in contributing to my community. For two years I have been donating my time to teach theatre at a religious kindergarten in Tel-Aviv. in 2015, I have taught acting as a volunteer at the CEN8 Organisation in New Cross.

Together with the performer I encourage building an inner-monologue combined of images and sub-texts, to enrich and create an extra layer to the performance. I am an avid reader who also loves singing and teaching.
