With the theory, I often look through past papers with the student to establish common questions and work to get the most succinct and correct answer. I aim to make the students complete the challenges themselves as much as possible - it is not my intention to create solutions for coursework/assignments for students to use as their own. In my current role, I have full responsibility of delivering the new qualifications from S1 BGE through to Advanced Higher Computing Science. I have made the changes to our course and continue to develop these and the changes have been seamless in ensuring a smooth transition into the National Qualifications. I have been working on small projects for some companies and mostly working on freelance websites. I've been tutoring friends and other people aged between 12 and 24 for a while and I want to continue doing it.

Thus, I have supported diverse students in different subject areas to excel in their examinations with outstanding grades. Tutoring Approach:
Typically, I elicit learning from my students by finding areas of the topic they find difficult, lack confidence and find challenging. Then, I facilitate engagement by starting my lesson from there as I clarify concepts, misconceptions or difficulties. I signpost and support the students by exploring and exposing them to the basic fundamentals of the subject. Then build their confidence in tackling related questions. Thus, empowering the students to gain a deeper insight in understanding the easy approach to learning as well as becoming competent, confident and successful in the subject of study.

I am a professional Computer Teacher and an IT Consultant with special interest in Human Computer Interface, Artificial Intelligence and IoT with advanced research background (About 10 research papers in the mentioned areas), who has a taste for smart home development. Having had diverse field and office experiences, I have developed a professional career in dynamic and proactive Organizations (Banking and Academics), worked in an environment where challenges are paramount (IT Industry), and at the end, I always bring out the best through planning, strategizing, consulting and good decision making.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a computer teacher for 5 years before joining the Banking Industry where I grew to become the IT Manager for two years. I have also been a Lecturer for 7 years in the Computer Science Department of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State Nigeria.

I am a PGDE holder. Apart from this, I am a member of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and Education Workforce Council of Wales United Kingdom. I am Samson Shaji. I worked as Technology Analyst(Azure AI Engineer) in INFOSYS for last 3.8 years. Now I am student of MSc iin Computational Mechanics at Swansea University, Swansea, Wales. I love to understand and know about the laws of universe which is written in the language of mathematics as Galileo Galilei says- "The book of nature is written in the language of mathematics". So I try to understand the approach of scientists to learn about the unreasonable effectiveness of Mathematics. I would like to share the understanding of the mathematics to others as I also have the passion to teach others and explain the mystery of mathematics in an understandable manner.
