I have over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience in both university modules and A-levels for all major exam boards, specializing in computer science, programming, mathematics, and economics. My educational background includes undergraduate and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras (Greece). I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at prestigious universities such as Cambridge, Surrey, and Essex. Additionally, I hold a teaching qualification for Higher Education from the University of York. I have also taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules at the Universities of York, Warwick, and London in the aforementioned areas.

I have a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (PhD), with years of first hand experience in satisfactorily engaging and supporting students as I attempt to demystify and tear down barriers (or challenges) in different subjects areas. I am passionate and enthusiastic at teaching Mathematics, Physics, Engineering related modules and Computer related modules including programming as I create an empowering environment for students while demonstrating empathy, pastoral care and patience at all times. I have gained an extensive knowledge base to enable me deliver an outstanding knowledge transfer process to stimulate curiosity, interaction and connection with students in their respective subjects of interest. I have successfully tutored students at GCSE , A levels and BEng programs. I am a professional Computer Teacher and an IT Consultant with special interest in Human Computer Interface, Artificial Intelligence and IoT with advanced research background (About 10 research papers in the mentioned areas), who has a taste for smart home development. Having had diverse field and office experiences, I have developed a professional career in dynamic and proactive Organizations (Banking and Academics), worked in an environment where challenges are paramount (IT Industry), and at the end, I always bring out the best through planning, strategizing, consulting and good decision making.

Teaching Experience:
I have been a computer teacher for 5 years before joining the Banking Industry where I grew to become the IT Manager for two years. I have also been a Lecturer for 7 years in the Computer Science Department of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State Nigeria.

University Lecturer in Computer Science. Married with one child, and a dog (a schnoodle). I have seen my own son recently progress through schooling to university, learning Computer Science at different ages. In my own time I volunteer at a local rowing club.

I have 15 years of experience teaching Computer Science at degree level, and for younger learners. I also run a national programming contest (called UKIEPC) to encourage young people to learn programming.
