I started working as a tutor in London and Surrey in 2013/2014, mainly for students who had been excluded from school. In 2015 I relocated and began tutoring private clients in East Anglia. * Head of Computing and ICT at school in County Durham. * Worked as 2nd in Department as Teacher of Computing at School in Durham where I taught for 9 years. *Specialise in Computer Science at GSCE OCR for both papers 1 and 2 as well as Python coding that will assist the students project and exam technique. *I also specialise at Computing at A Level OCR where I teach all the aspects of the paper one section of the course from Hardware, Software to the Mathematical side of Computing. * I am currently the lead mentor at my school for Computer Science trainee teachers where I aim to try and support the trainee as much as possible in the classroom to help them progress. * Currently exam mark for OCR at both GCSE and A Level. I am a primary teacher who was born in India, spent a few years in Malaysia, grew up in Australia and now live and teach in the UK. I understand people and children from different backgrounds, cultures and needs and love to meet new people. I am a mother to a young toddler as well.
I love reading now though this was not always the case when I was younger! I think this gives me a unique perspective on understanding and encouraging a love for reading amongst young children. I enjoy puzzles and quizzes which leans into my strength of logical reasoning.
