Having a PhD and a 1st Class Degree in Computer Science from Sheffield University, I have a great deal of experience in everything from general programming to academic research. I started working as a tutor in London and Surrey in 2013/2014, mainly for students who had been excluded from school. In 2015 I relocated and began tutoring private clients in East Anglia. I am also looking to bring in the BBC Microbits ( a brand new product developed by BBC to aid coding) into part of our curriculum to add value and excitment into our junior courses. I am also discussing with the University of Abertay, Dundee ways of bridging the gaps between school curriculums and Further Education.

I am currently implementing the NPA structure and offering training to Local Authority staff on the course.

I find tutoring very satisfying due to see the pupils progress in their development and coming out after the exam having made huge improvements in their subject knowledge.
