If the pupil is poorly motivated and/or has acquired unhelpful learning habits then we may need to vary the approach in order to re-engage their interest and/or find a level at which they can perform successfully, and then build on this accomplishment.

Having worked in at least 6 different companies including the NHS, I currently work with a major Bank as a Business/Systems Analyst and Data Architect. Whilst I was at Moat at during my education at Beauchamp College and Loughborough College I helped to assist/ train a small group in the use of particular pieces of hardware and software At Loughborugh College. Whilst at Moat I assisted staff in the training and understanding of new software to ensure all staff have the confidence to deliver the curriculum and to provide support to staff appropriate to their needs. With the theory, I often look through past papers with the student to establish common questions and work to get the most succinct and correct answer. I aim to make the students complete the challenges themselves as much as possible - it is not my intention to create solutions for coursework/assignments for students to use as their own. My name is Toufic, I'm 40 years old originally from Lebanon. I have an Engineering Degree in Software Development from the University of Burgundy (France), and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from Bradford University (UK). I am currently working as the Web Development Manager.

Teaching Experience:
I enjoy teaching, and love sharing my knowledge with different types of people, either young beginners or adults.
I helped many young students who had difficulties in their academic studies. But I also taught adults and professionals both IT skills and the French/Arabic language either spoken or written.

I'm a committed,professional and hard working qualified ICT teacher/Lecturer,who has been teaching for 20 years. I have taught across Key stages 3,4 and 5 at GCSE,BTEC Level 2 Digital IT,AS and A levels during my teaching career. My subject knowledge is outstanding, and i have a proven track record of success within my subject. I aim to ensure that all students can reach their full potential, by providing a kind,caring and enjoyable environment for my students.

Teaching Experience:
Taught for 9 years at a high school in Northumberland. I also design and create websites in my spare time. Been an IT trainer teaching apprentices at Level 3 and 4, Worked in FE colleges including spells at Tynemet College and Newcastle College. Currently I work in a secondary school in North Tyneside. I have 20 years experience of teaching all topics within Computer Science and ICT at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. My teaching experience covers secondary schools, further education colleges and working in the private sector with apprentices.

My approach to tutoring is that I aim to ensure that all students can reach their full potential, by providing a kind,caring and enjoyable, engaging environment for my students, so that they can improve their confidence and subject knowledge.
