Having a PhD and a 1st Class Degree in Computer Science from Sheffield University, I have a great deal of experience in everything from general programming to academic research. I worked for a decade as an academic at both Sheffield and Surrey Universities. I have helped many students through their studies at GCSE and A-level, teaching AQA, OCR and CIE syllabuses. For A-level and GCSE students it is worth beginning tuition as soon as possible, not just in the weeks running up to exams (although this can still help). Programming and software development is both a hobby and a career for me, and I'd to share some of the knowledge I've built up over the years.

I have a Computer Science BSc (Hons.) first class degree from Royal Holloway University of London, graduating in 2017. Since then, I have worked full-time in the software industry, with a focus on programming and full stack development. I have experience in every aspect of programming and software, from gathering requirements from customers and architecting software solutions, to deploying databases and secure applications to the cloud. I can pick up and help you with just about anything, however my speciality is with C#/Java, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases, UI design and implementation. Our sessions would involve an online call, with or without a webcam, and utilize online resources and screen sharing to discuss and explain together. This would be using whichever software you are most comfortable with, be it Zoom, Teams, Slack, Discord, etc.
