Having a PhD and a 1st Class Degree in Computer Science from Sheffield University, I have a great deal of experience in everything from general programming to academic research. I have been an Assistant Professor at SCT College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram since 2013, teaching subjects including Computer Programming (C, C++, Python), Applied Electromagnetic Theory, Biomedical Engineering, and Algorithmic Thinking. I have supervised over 20 undergraduate final-year projects and multiple postgraduate (M.Tech) dissertations, as well as co-supervising PhD students. I have received Certificates of Appreciation from my institution's Alumni Association for achieving 100% pass rates in multiple subjects. I am a primary teacher who was born in India, spent a few years in Malaysia, grew up in Australia and now live and teach in the UK. I understand people and children from different backgrounds, cultures and needs and love to meet new people. I am a mother to a young toddler as well.
I love reading now though this was not always the case when I was younger! I think this gives me a unique perspective on understanding and encouraging a love for reading amongst young children. I enjoy puzzles and quizzes which leans into my strength of logical reasoning.

I hold two Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, earned in France and South Africa respectively.
