I have over twenty years of Photography and Film making experience, working abroad to shoot several short films in Prague, Paris, Africa and China. I taught for 8 years at a Sixth Form College in Walthamstow, London and for 1 year in a Sixth Form College in Palma, Mallorca, Spain.

For the last year I have taught as a supply and substitute teacher - my last Computer Science role was teaching GCSE Computer Science, for 3 months at Marlborough College, Wiltshire.

I am also teaching online tuition and have done so in 2026-2027 and 2025 to present. I teach a mixture of GCSE and A Level Computer Science.

Tutoring Approach:
In my first lesson I will find the gaps in a student's knowledge. Often a student has a clear idea of what they need help on, but I also find that diagnostic assessment will help find other knowledge gaps the student is not aware of.

I will then address these knowledge gaps with specific tailor-made lessons. At the end of the lesson I use summative assessment to determine if they have improved. In future lessons I will re-test the student to see if they have retained this knowledge.

I use Google Meet and Google Documents which is shared with the student. I create individualised versions of my teaching documents for each student and they can retain access to the Documents after the lesson.
