At secondary school, I was a Peer Mentor for 2 GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry. We met weekly in the build up to their exams and went over topics they struggled with and I brought some of my own materials along to test their knowledge after we had discussed their mistakes. I learnt a great deal about different teaching styles from both students and how to be adaptable when the topic of discussion changed quickly. Additionally, for 2 years every week, I volunteered to teach disabled children how to swim at my local pool. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the green spaces of Alexandra Park, browsing the independent shops on Muswell Hill Broadway, and swimming. I recently completed the Parkland Walk challenge.

Teaching Experience:
I bring extensive and diverse teaching experience to my tutoring. I currently work part-time in a secondary school in North London, and have previously taught at a comprehensive in Islington. I have also completed supply teaching across London boroughs, as well as a valuable teaching placement in Birmingham. In my school roles, I have held responsibilities for curriculum developmentand year group mentoring, which informs my holistic approach to student progress.
