I got all A's in my first year of A level Chemistry, Biology and Maths and am consistently getting A*'s in the second year. In my UCAT I scored 2890, which was in the 92nd percentile and I also got a Band 1 for the situational judgement test. At secondary school, I was a Peer Mentor for 2 GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry. We met weekly in the build up to their exams and went over topics they struggled with and I brought some of my own materials along to test their knowledge after we had discussed their mistakes. I learnt a great deal about different teaching styles from both students and how to be adaptable when the topic of discussion changed quickly. Additionally, for 2 years every week, I volunteered to teach disabled children how to swim at my local pool. Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and results-driven. I believe every learner is unique, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual goals, learning styles, and confidence levels. Whether a student is looking to build foundational understanding or aiming for top grades, I create a structured yet flexible plan to help them progress at the right pace.

I focus on developing not just subject knowledge, but also study skills, critical thinking, and exam technique - all essential for long-term success. Lessons are interactive and engaging, encouraging students to ask questions, think independently, and build confidence in their own abilities.

Above all, I aim to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My ultimate goal is to help every student become a more confident, capable, and independent learner.

Personal Description:
I am a calm, patient and approchable individual with a good sense of humour. I enjoy interacting with people, and am known for my loud laugh and big smile.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 6 years in a highly diverse Secondary school in Ealing. I teach Triple and Combined Biology GCSE (exam board Edexcel, but can also teach AQA) and A level Biology (exam board Edexcel A), and Physics and Chemistry Combined Science GCSE. I have taught both Foundation and Higher level GCSE and have experience teaching SEN students.

Tutoring Approach:
I am an energetic person who loves to be creative while teaching. I would approach teaching in different ways so I can ascertain the best approach for the tutee. We will focus on content, exam questions using examiner reports and past papers, and revision techniques. I like to keep a positive vibe during sessions, so that the person feels good about themselves and what they are learning.
