I'm a qualified science teacher and Head of Science based in London, who currently teaches in a secondary school to students aged 11-18. I teach all sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) to KS3 and GCSE (Edexcel and AQA specification), and teach A-Level Biology (OCR specification). I have worked within education for the past 10 years and really love working with young people to inspire them to achieve the best they can. Through medical school I've been part of societies which involves learning and teaching different complex topics. During all my stages of studying from GCSES and A levels to Medical School I have always studied in groups, learning from and teaching my friends.

Tutoring Approach:
Good tutoring doesn't require a specific approach, it depends on the learning pattern of the student, I've always studied in groups I understand some students may pick up certain topics through different explanations and examples to another student. My approach to tutoring would be whatever suits the students better, whether it's : explanations, examples, similar questions to the question they're struggling with. I aim to teach the student through various methods, in my opinion learning is important but consolidation through repetition is more important

I have a decade of experience teaching physics at the GCSE level, A Levels, and at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have taught full-time at some of the most prestigious institutions and have also tutored privately through colleges and personal recommendations. Additionally, I am experienced in teaching students in two Indian languages, Kannada and Hindi for whom English is not their first language.

I am Dr Satnam, a Cambridge graduate and currently specialising as a psychiatry doctor in the UK. Having navigated the challenges of medical school and postgraduate exams myself, I understand the complexities students face and aim to provide the strategies and support I wish I'd had during my studies.
