I have been the Head of Accounting since 2006, at a large Catholic Sixth Form College in Hulme, Manchester. I am 46 years old, living in Didsbury, South Manchester. I am an enthusiastic Head of Department at an outstanding school in Berkshire. I teach both GCSE and A level Business and Economics. I have experience in a range of different exam boards. I graduated from the University of Bath with a 2.1 in Economics and Politics and have a decade of real world experience having worked as a management consultant and senior marketing roles in the healthcare and lifesciences industry. I am also a proud mum to my son, keen yoga practitioner and love to travel.

Teaching Experience:
I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have supported students with dyslexia and other learning needs improve their written work and improve the accuracy and understanding of technical and diagrammatic analysis in Economics

Tutoring Approach:
My approach is to identify the students need whether that's understanding the content fully or being able to apply their knowledge to exam questions. Or indeed whether the student needs to practise structuring their writing to more clearly align with the mark schemes from the examiner. In addition some students need support organising themselves and planning their revision. I believe it should complement and enhance their school work in a positive way. Ideally students should use the sessions to enable them to become more independent in their learning rather than tutoring for perpetuity.

I'm a student in the University of Greenwich.I'm doing my BA Hons business management degree and I'm in the last year. I always loved studying business studies and maths. O levels and A levels business studies is on my finger tips as I have a passion to do business in future. I'm very sharp at primary Mathematics loved Algebra in junior school. Teaching Experience:
I do not have a formal teaching experience, though i have tutored my younger brothers and substituted classes in my school. where teachers gave us the opportunity to teach a a group of junior students in school break clubs.

Tutoring Approach:
I focus on making my student understanding the concept and on his or her weakness. I create very friendly environment where students can be feel comfortable and share their problems regarding the subject.

I have over 25 years of teaching both GCSE and A level business, mostly with WJEC Examination Board but have taught GCSE Edexcel as well.

Tutoring Approach:
I am happy to tailor my experience to your needs and can teach the whole syllabus, individual topics or go through past papers.

Lessons would last for 50 minutes and I am happy to mark past paper questions or go through them with students.
