During my long service in the Pharma industry (~30 years), I have run many short courses and workshops. During 2005/6, I mentored a pupil (Year 10/11) at St. Peter's High School, Longsight, organised by the University of Manchester. I am capable to do quick summarised revision sessions, as well as long term lesson plans. Either way I ensure that the student is always given homework and stays revising. If appropriate I also do small mastery tests at the start of each lesson which consists of a five minute recap test, so the student is required to have revised the previous lesson well. A bit of background about me: I completed my degree in chemistry in 1993 and began my PhD in physical chemistry the following year. I recieved a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Forensic Medical Science at both of these universities (respectively).
