I offer one-to-one tuition in maths, biology, chemistry, physics and combined science. One-to-one tutoring is a great way for students to become more confident in their subject, and to ask all those questions they don't ask in class. My graduate degree is in chemistry, while I also have a doctorate in medical molecular genetics and a teaching qualification.

Teaching Experience:
I have fourteen years' experience as a tutor and have tutored over 200 students in maths, chemistry, biology and physics. My students include home-schooled students and students who self-study.

I tutor maths at various levels, from Functional Skills to GCSE and chemistry, biology, physics and combined science at GCSE level.

Furthermore, I tutor chemistry and biology at A-level. I am comfortable supporting students with any aspect of their syllabus and, in particular, with the mathematics of chemistry and biology and the biology topic of genetics and biotechnology. Human biology is a particular interest of mine.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is different for every student because every student requires support with different sections of the curriculum. Students studying for an exam may need help with subject content or exam technique, or both, while students who are not in exam years may need support with topics addressed in class. I plan the tutoring sessions around those needs and always with the individual student in mind, which is why the sessions are different for every student. I very much value input from the student with regard to areas of difficulty and learning style so that together we can get the most out of our time. I offer in-person and online tuition.

I have seen students` confidence in their abilities increases and their understanding deepens. Both students and parents have offered positive feedback from the great improvement in their grade as a result of my tuition. For example, a student`s grade in A Level Physics improved from originally an E to an A after my tuition, while others attend their preferred schools after help revision for their entrance exams.

Hello! I`m Simon. I hold a PhD in structural biophysics/biochemistry, plus I have an honours degree in biochemistry and a masters in clinical chemistry. I also have eighteen years of experience working in clinical biochemistry laboratories within the NHS. This encompassed various roles and duties, including producing analytical results to help diagnose and manage patients, troubleshooting and problem-solving, discussion of patients with clinical staff, management and supervision of laboratory staff and research and development work. More recently, I also have considerable research experience, both in pure research and from working within the pharmaceutical industry.

I have over ten years of experience working as a self-employed tutor in the sciences and maths. Hi. My name is Saif and I presently work as the Assistant Head of Science responsible for Chemistry at a school in London. I am an aspiring Medic currently studying at Imperial College London, I have lived in London my entire life and love all parts of it. I am a judoka training many times a week looking to develop my skill and passion for the sport. I am passionate about learning as a whole and enjoy the endeavour. I received A*AA in my A-levels, with a 90 and 92 in maths paper 1 and 2. I also took 12 GCSEs, achieving eight 9s in total, including in Maths, triple sciences and English literature.
