ART: I like to find out as much as I can about my students before beginning to teach them. I like to meet them and see their portfolios. My first duty is to make sure that drawing is taught to an academic standard before more creative work is undertaken. I have been a loyal student to BCU, where I obtained, both my Fine Art degree and my MA in Art and Education Practice. Planning for my PhD research study too. I have 25 years experience in Design & Technology (Textiles) , Art and Health & Social Care. I am experienced up to GCSE in all three areas and have taught A Level Art & Design for A level in an FE college.
I have one to one tutor experience for nearly a year in a PRU in Pembrokeshire focussing on GCSE core subjects, ie English and Maths primarily.
I am very good with pupils and am able to develop very good relationships with them. My success rate is excellent in my key subject areas.
