Hello,
I have completed my PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at UEA. I also have an MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway, and a First Class Honours Degree in English Literature. I also have a good Fine Art degree from Chelsea College of Art and Design. I have been a private tutor for twenty years, and have taught many children in that time.

I am currently tutoring in Wadebridge in Cornwall but can offer Skype or Zoom lessons.

I'm 49, married and am an aunt and godmother.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught at undergraduate level at university as well as writing skills in an academic skills centre. I have also taught SATs to thirteen year olds. I have a PTTLs degree level 4 qualification and taught on an Access Course to adult learners.

I have taught AQA and EDEXCEL syllabuses at GCSE and AQA at A-Level.

I use past exam papers, model essays, and devote time and attention to close reading of set texts at GCSE and A-Level. I have also given art lessons.

I can also provide Skype and Zoom lessons and find this has been successful with older and university level students.

A teacher with a degree in Photographic arts. Passionate and knowledgeable about digital and analogue photography, with the ability to teach post-production editing in Photoshop. I also do photography for my own enjoyment, specifically looking at landscape and architectural photography. I have freelanced previously as a wedding photographer but that life was just not for me as I much prefer teaching the subject as a career! I am currently teaching at a private school, teaching A-Level and GCSE Photography and KS3 Art. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel and I am up to date on my standardisation procedures for Edexcel examing board, most recently having been on a training course in November 2023. I have been drawing and painting professionally for 14 years. Most of the time I am creating my paintings with pastels and throughout my carrier as an artist, I learned quite a lot about this medium and how to use it to achieve the desired results. I also work with oils. But my private lessons will be concentrated on creating pastel artworks.
I am specializing in pet portraits but I also have done quite a lot of people's portraits and landscapes.

I am a contemporary artist with over 14 years of experience in fine art, encompassing drawing (pencil and charcoal), oil painting, sculpting, and stone and wood carving. My expertise is rooted in six years of dedicated study in traditional, academic, and anatomical clay modelling, which has provided a strong foundation for my artistic journey.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Edinburgh (2019) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Academy of Latvia (2017). Over the years, I have explored a wide range of materials in my sculpting practice, including clay, plaster, foam, polyester resin/fibreglass, wood, metal, stone, and fabrics. My extensive knowledge extends to mould-making and bronze casting, with a particular focus on creating silicone and plaster moulds. For larger projects, I specialise in using fibreglass to ensure strength and durability.

Through my work, I strive to push the boundaries of form and material, constantly refining my techniques while honouring the rich traditions of sculptural art.
