ART: I like to find out as much as I can about my students before beginning to teach them. I like to meet them and see their portfolios. My first duty is to make sure that drawing is taught to an academic standard before more creative work is undertaken. Throughout his practice there is a sense of an acceptance of failure or disappointment as important parts of the human condition. He makes light with big issues and is, in turn, haunting and funny. Recent DIY apocalypses, created from expanding builders' foam, seem to have an unruly, malevolent life of their own and explore the processes of invasion and infection. While his films and writing play with ideas of chance, quotidian struggles, the loss of control and responsibility.

I have been a loyal student to BCU, where I obtained, both my Fine Art degree and my MA in Art and Education Practice. Planning for my PhD research study too. This post will help me through my research and will give me a good access to both teaching and research. I have been looking for this opportunity to teach alongside my PhD study.
I became a practicing artist and researcher in the subject of Britishness and modern values since 2003. Working from my studio as well as researching . I am interested in culture diversity and community. I am quite focused on research and combining my work with strong evidence. I also have been teaching Arabic and have strong knowledge of the Middle East culture and I can give support to students coming from the Middle East, including helping them to gain confidence and engage with other fellow students. I also have great experience with special needs, being a mother of an autistic boy.
I have been developing my research skills for 13 years. I am quite an independent researcher and always looking for new methods to reach the maximum point I get to with my research. I graduated from Wimbledon College of Art, (UAL) in 2012 with an MA in Fine Art and in 2011 with a BA in Fine Art.

I am a professional and practising international artist with experience in the art industry in the UK, Europe and Asia. I have an active studio practice and I work mainly with sculpture, casting, installation and analogue photography, but I have extensive experience in painting, printmaking, paper making, drawing.

I am a contemporary artist with over 14 years of experience in fine art, encompassing drawing (pencil and charcoal), oil painting, sculpting, and stone and wood carving. My expertise is rooted in six years of dedicated study in traditional, academic, and anatomical clay modelling, which has provided a strong foundation for my artistic journey.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Edinburgh (2019) and a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Academy of Latvia (2017). Over the years, I have explored a wide range of materials in my sculpting practice, including clay, plaster, foam, polyester resin/fibreglass, wood, metal, stone, and fabrics.
