I have been the Head of Accounting since 2006, at a large Catholic Sixth Form College in Hulme, Manchester. I am 46 years old, living in Didsbury, South Manchester. I gained my degree in Economics and Finance in 1998 from Leicester University. I began teaching in 2002 so have many years of experience teaching Accounting.

I mainly offer tuition at my home, or a local library, either at the weekend, or weekday evenings. However, I am usually able to offer tuition during the school/college holidays.

I completed my PGCE at Manchester University in 2002. I only teach Accounting AS and A2 Level, and this is therefore my main specialism. I have taught kids aged 7-16 and when it comes to subjects like accounting i have taught all my friends the basics and how to approach the subject in a simple way.

Tutoring Approach:
I have various tricks and tips to learn subjects like accounting and math. I was an average student as well and i have overcome the fear of not being able to approach these number. I always try to get in the brain of the person i am teaching and i adapt according to the person i teach by giving them real life examples and asking them questions on them in the end. When it comes to English communication is key.

Explain till the time the concept is not clear. There is no need to rush. I believe that the minute you understand a topic, you will be able to master it with proper practice.
