Teaching Experience:
I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE. I taught in a school for a year, and since then I have been tutoring for over 17 years, covering KS3, GCSE, A level and numeracy skills for PGCE applicants. Cliché: music is my passion. I am an experienced musician who gigs regularly around the North East, South West/East and South Wales. I have played in many bands over the years on saxophone, piano/keyboard and clarinet ranging from traditional, classical orchestras to jazz big bands and funk bands. I am versatile in many genres frequently gigging with my own band, a jazz sextet as well as open nights and headlining bands as the lead player. My main performance work includes (but is not limited to) recording, touring and gigging with London based rock and roll group Hannah Rickard and the Relatives. Other works include composition for film and theatre as well as several music qualifications up to degree level, having graduated from The Univeristy of Sunderland with a BMus Honours degree in Jazz, popular and commercial music in 2013.

Teaching Experience:
I gained the majority of my experience in tuition teaching beginners before I moved to the North East. This was on saxophone, clarinet and piano with all students having great success in both ABRSM grade exams and in pubic performances.

Tutoring Approach:
I am a very laid back person but push people to be the best they can be. I am free to travel to most areas of the North East and surrounding areas and do not directly require the student to come to me - this can change week to week as necessary. All student preferences are catered to with the student guiding the musical material for the lessons with structured input.

Teaching Experience:
Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages for over twenty years to students of wide ranging levels (Beginners to A2 Level). A lot of my recent work has been with sixth-form students across the region but prior to that I worked with adults at many establishments on a more group basis. I have studied PGCE Mandarin at a university in the Uk and obtained a qualified teacher certificate. I am teaching Mandarin at a school in the south of England. All of my students like my teaching because not only can they learn mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing, but they also enjoy learning about the different Chinese cultures as well as taking part in many activities at the same time. All of my GCSE year students have achieved A* grade GCSE Mandarin. I am a mandarin native speaker and I used to be a compere on the stage in China. I taught Chinese language and Chinese dancing in a Chinese school in the UK for 14 years.

I have taught Children's, adult mandarin, Chinese GCSG and A level private tuition 1 to 1 and 1 to 2.
•My dancing group students won the championship in the UK south west region Chinese Dancing competition in year 2012 and 2013.

I always try to make my lessons very enjoyable with Chinese music, PPT, CD, flash cards, Chinese idioms, telling stories, roll play, singing Chinese songs, videos of Chinese cultures, playing different games, computer games and debate. Lots of variety making the lessons an active learning process.

I am a native French speaker, aged 21, currently working in a school in Gateshead as a French Language Assistant, so I am already used to teaching my own language. I also aim to become an English teacher after completing my teaching degree in France. I will be in Newcastle until the end of May, when my contract with the school ends. After this I will go back to France to finish my studies.

I am passionate about literature and music, and would be able to teach cultural aspects of France if that is what you are looking for. I have also always loved languages since I was a child, I learnt English and German from the age of 10, I also did some Spanish and Russian at the end of secondary school, and I have been trying to learn Italian for the last few months. I would be glad to pass on this love for languages.

My adventure with Martial Arts began in 1991 joining in Karate Kyokushin club in Lublin Poland. After 3 years of training, I become an instructor leading numerous groups for children and adults teaching Karate and Self-Defence. Over the years my interest was directed as well onto other Martial Arts, Aikido, Judo, Ju-Jutsu, Shaolin Chi-Na, Jeet Kune Do, moreover I was practicing with Nunchaku, Bo, Tonfa, and Japanese Fencing Kendo. In 2003 I Have erected Bushido School in Lublin teaching Karate KyokushinKan, Free Running, and as a first person in this region Kendo. In 2006 I moved to Edinburg Scotland where In 2010 reached for 3rd Dan in Karate KyokushinKan and become Branch Representative in Scotland. During that time I took part in numerous Tournaments both regional and international competing in Kata (forms) and Kumite (free fight) Achieving 2nd Place In International Tournament Oyama Cup Gdansk 2003.
I was involved in organizing Self Defence seminars with international recognized specialist Rory Miller in Edinburgh and Coordinating his tour in the UK.
Additionally, I have Master Degree in Sociology of Culture Maria-Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin Poland, and I am qualified Hypnotherapist, currently studying Counseling.
Now I am providing individual and group sessions to motivated and open minded students.

Tutoring Approach:
