Over the years, I have continued to develop professionally, completing postgraduate studies including my Independent Prescribing qualification and postgraduate training in Primary Care Practice. Alongside my clinical career, I remain passionate about mentoring and supporting young learners academically.

Having graduated from University College London (UCL) and completed further postgraduate studies at the University of Bath and the University of Hertfordshire, I understand the challenges students face and aim to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

Tutoring Approach:
I tend to use a variety of methods when teaching, depending on the child and their needs, focusing on their age and what their syllabus requires. I am capable to do quick summarised revision sessions, as well as long term lesson plans. Either way I ensure that the student is always given homework and stays revising. If appropriate I also do small mastery tests at the start of each lesson which consists of a five minute recap test, so the student is required to have revised the previous lesson well. Obviously if they struggle with the homework or mastery test, then the lesson plan's pace is adjusted to meet the child's level. This helps to ensure that the student masters each topic before moving on to the next.
