Hello! I'm Jenny - an experienced Primary Tutor, offering personalised 1:1 support for children aged 4-11 years in all areas of Maths and English. I work from my home in Shaw, Oldham and offer a choice of 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions, which are delivered face-to-face.

After studying a Masters degree in Mathematics at Durham University, I worked in London in High Net Worth Tax for a big four firm and my current role is within University admissions. I received A* and A grades for all modules in my high school and maintained these grades at A-level.

My own personal experience of learning means that I can relate easily to the challenges and work load that 11+/GCSE/A-level/Degree students face. I have been speaking Spanish for over 30 years and have a passion for the language, for Spain and the Spanish culture.

I have visited Spain every year since I was eight and regularly visit friends across the country and members of my family who live near Valencia.  I spent a year of my degree studying, living and working in Northern Spain, at the University of Salamanca.  I regularly update and improve my own language and teaching skills and most recently attended an intensive week's teaching and learning course in Málaga .

Then I went on to having private students of my own at both A level and GCSE level in person and online.
