I have a degree in BSc Pharmacology (Hons) and a qualified teacher of Science from KS1 to KS5, with MSc in Educational Leadership and Management. I am a very hard-working individual who is easily motivated and always ready to adapt and learn new skills.I have over 12 years experience teaching from KS1 to KS5 including open university students. I also have over 17 years of tutoring experience.

As a part of my first degree, I developed essential and transferable scientific skills which I now teach my students. My project title was 'Synthesis and Biochemical Evaluation of Heat Shock Protein Hsp90 inhibitors on MCF-7 breast cancer cells'. I specialised on studies, on how drugs are discovered, developed and used to treat diseases. This gave me a deeper understanding of how the human body functions and how drugs can be used to treat problems associate to these functions.

Teaching Experience:
An ex AQA GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics examiner; I marked live GCSE papers.

Over 6 years experience at an inner-city schools and 2 years experience at SEN school. I have over 12 years' experience working with people with challenging behaviour, dyslexia and autism. I have taught Key stage 3 and 4 Sciences.

I also taught combined and separate Science lessons to GCSE group which includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For key stage 3 I have followed the QCA guidelines and for key stage 4 the AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and OCR examination boards. I have written multiple schemes of work to meet the recent curriculum change.

Tutoring Approach:
My approach to teaching is to first find out my student's weaknesses and turn it into their strengths;I am a great believer in personalised teaching, so I produce my own resources such as short educative videos, mind maps, simplified flash cards on complex terms, to meet the needs of my students. I also like to bring the best out of my students by practically using every method available. I do a one week adaptability approach to see which method suits the student the most and then based upon this, I will design the progress tracking sheet together with the pace suitable for my student to achieve their learning goal.

I'm an enthusiastic driven person. I take pride in my work and I'd like to do it well. In my spare time I like to be active and go sailing, diving or wake boarding.

Teaching Experience:
I taught for 7 months in a Belgian secondary school. I taught 11-14 year old children Latin there. I've also taught Life Science and Art History to 14-16 year olds. My appointment was temporary and so I went on doing something else. From time to time I have been asked to do some tutoring. I hope this way I can help educate the new generation that is willing to learn.

Tutoring Approach:
I believe anyone can learn anything though depending on our skills some people just have to put in extra effort to get the same results. I therefore try to help in easing and structuring this extra effort. I am a recent Cass Business School MSc Graduate in field of Supply Chain. My BSc is in Economics, Finance and Management. I have a background in social and commercial entrepreneurship having worked in several start-ups and ngos.

Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching English as a second language in Malaga Spain for 5+ years.

In Malaga, Spain there is a shortage of learning opportunities and availability of English tutors. I recognised that as a native speaker I could dedicate my spare time to tutoring students who wished to improve their conversational English. I taught on average 8-10 students a week. Ages varying mostly between 4-16 with the occasional adult learner.

As a fluent Spanish speaker I am now offering tuition for individuals seeking to develop their grammar or conversational skills in the Spanish language (Castellano).

I am currently a practicing Surface Designer producing design collections for interiors for high end department stores including Fenwicks. This includes designs for glass art, prints,soft furnishings, bedding and cushions. I currently also exhibit nationally .
I have worked as a practicing designer for a number of years having started my career as a commercial designer in Fashion Avenue New York and London after graduating.

After studying Physics at the University of Bristol, I have spent the past 10 years working in the field of sustainable buildings. Alongside my professional career, I spent five years working as a private tutor between 2016 and 2021. I then took a short break from tutoring as my two sons were born, and I am now looking forward to supporting new students once again!

I specialise in tutoring Maths and Physics at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have been tutoring for four years and I have a lot of experience supporting students in improving their Film Studies grades by 2-4 grades. I studied Film at university and I have an insatiable passion for Film and an unquenchable thirst for learning. Currently, I am an English language tutor, an assistant at an arts festival, developing a YouTube series and training to become a karate instructor. I believe Film is the most influential tool in this generation. I plan to make the most of this potency during my career by creating films of value and meaning. My strength in English is in dissecting the language and finding the core meaning of a text. I work as an Associate Lecturer on the BA Painting Programme at Camberwell College of Arts (University of the Arts London), as a mentor on the Turps Painting Programme and was invited to be a Visiting Artist at Goldsmiths for 2023, and again for 2024. I am also a Dissertation Supervisor for Final Year students at Camberwell on their BA Programme. My specialism is Art History, however I have extensive knowledge of a wide variety of subjects and my tutees have all immensely improved their grades (often by multiple grade bands) and have been very happy with their results.

I also teach writing for a wide variety of audiences. I have experience writing reviews of exhibitions for Mousse magazine and an in conversation series with key artistic figures, including Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey, Markus Lüpertz, Leidy Churchman and Chris Martin. In 2019 my writing won the a-n arts prize and I took part in a series of workshops facilitated by prominent writers and editors, such as the Editor of Frieze magazine.
